Discover the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum experience with the amuseapp audio guide.
Introduction
The Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum is a unique space dedicated to the memory of one of Italy’s most brilliant entrepreneurs. Located in Funo di Argelato, on the outskirts of Bologna, the Museum spans 9,000 square meters and houses Ferruccio Lamborghini’s entire industrial production: from the first Carioca tractor of 1947 to the most iconic automotive models such as the Miura SV, the Countach, and the Espada.
Conceived and designed by Tonino Lamborghini to celebrate his father’s legacy, the Museum was inaugurated in 2014 and welcomes visitors from around the world every year, with a particularly significant international presence. A prestigious setting that required a solution capable of offering a multilingual, flexible, and accessible visitor experience.
What were the main difficulties or challenges your cultural venue faced before using amuseapp?
“The Museum only had descriptive panels to support the visit,” explains the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum team.
“We needed to implement a system that would guide visitors and accompany them along the route, offering a richer and more structured experience than simply reading the panels.”
A need particularly felt in a 9,000-square-meter museum, where the vastness of the collection and the variety of the international audience made it necessary to have a tool capable of telling Ferruccio Lamborghini’s story in an engaging and accessible way for everyone.
What factors convinced you to choose amuseapp?
“In addition to the economic sustainability of the pay-per-use model, another determining factor was the need to offer a museum route narrated in different languages, to better welcome an increasingly international audience. And your solution seemed to us the best option,” explains the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum team.
How has amuseapp improved the visitor experience?
Today the Museum’s audio guide is available in six languages, including Polish, which was added after analyzing visitor origins.
“Last year we realized that most visitors came from Poland,” the team explains.
“We added Polish and since then we have received increasingly positive feedback, because it is not common to find this language in audio guides.”
Visitors appreciate the additional service and those who fully use the audio guide tend to spend more time at points of interest, experiencing a more in-depth and engaging visit.
Was it difficult to implement amuseapp?
The adoption of amuseapp did not present any particular difficulties for the Museum.
“We did not encounter any problems with implementation,” the team confirms.
Have you received any particular feedback from visitors?
Feedback from visitors has been positive. No negative feedback has been reported by those who have used the audio guide.
“Those who use it have not provided us with negative feedback,” the team reports.
Which amuseapp features do you find most useful?
“Languages, especially languages,” the team responds without hesitation.
The ability to add new languages quickly has proven to be the most appreciated feature, allowing the Museum to adapt in real time to the origins of its visitors and to offer a truly inclusive experience.
How would you rate the support received from the amuseapp team?
“The implementation phase proceeded smoothly and without any particular issues, thanks also to the excellent support provided by the amuseapp team, which proved to be always available, competent, and ready to intervene at every stage of the process.”
Would you recommend amuseapp to other cultural institutions?
“Yes, absolutely, and for the same reasons that led us to choose it in the first place,” the Museum team confirms with conviction. “The economic model is particularly advantageous: it allows access to a quality technological solution without having to sustain excessive initial investments, which makes it an ideal proposition.”
How would you describe amuseapp in three words?
“Simple, accessible, intuitive.”
