MUMAC, the Cimbali Group’s Coffee Machine Museum<\/a><\/strong>, located in Binasco, just outside Milan, is an <\/span>exhibition space dedicated to the history and evolution of espresso coffee machines<\/b>. Inaugurated in 2012, this <\/span>corporate museum<\/b> represents a unique cultural heritage that tells the story of <\/span>Italian espresso<\/b> through an <\/span>extraordinary collection of coffee machines<\/b> from different eras, historical documents, and advertising materials.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What were the main challenges your museum faced before adopting amuseapp?\n<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Communicating with foreign visitors who didn’t speak Italian or English. We often organize visits in these two languages, but we needed support, like an audio guide, that would also allow tourists of other nationalities to enjoy an engaging visit experience and better discover the history and richness of our exhibition. <\/span><\/p>

Additionally, we chose a solution that allows visitors to explore independently, enriching their experience and optimizing MUMAC’s activities.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Before amuseapp, we offered visitors audioguides in various languages through an app that was specifically created for MUMAC<\/a>. However, this was a system that proved to be obsolete over time, requiring continuous updates, and eventually fell into disuse.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What immediately impressed us during the introductory call with the team was the clarity<\/strong> with which the solution was presented to us, as well as Francesco and Paolo’s transparent approach<\/strong>. We immediately felt comfortable and perceived availability and reliability in the amuseapp team. <\/p>

Other aspects that convinced us to choose amuseapp were the innovative use of artificial intelligence<\/strong> and the simultaneous reading and translation feature<\/strong>. These elements were decisive in our decision because they make the experience more accessible and engaging. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Implementing the <\/span>amuseapp audio guide in twelve languages<\/b> (Italian, English, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Polish, Swedish and Portuguese) has allowed MUMAC<\/a><\/strong> to offer foreign visitors a complete and engaging visit experience in their native language. This has consequently made MUMAC<\/a><\/strong> a more accessible and inclusive museum with an increasingly focused approach to corporate social responsibility.<\/span><\/p>

Thanks to amuseapp’s flexibility, we’ve made different itineraries available, allowing each visitor to choose the one that best suits their needs. At MUMAC<\/a>, it’s now possible to explore the museum with an introductory itinerary, a shorter more concise one, or an extended one. Additionally, we’ve created thematic routes, including an itinerary dedicated to the evolution of the barista, one on fun facts about “Il Cimbalino,” and one focused on Design. We were also able to create a special itinerary for the FAI Autumn Days 2024. Throughout the process, the amuseapp team supported us in modifying and updating the content. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Visitors have never encountered any particular obstacles in using the app; in fact, they’ve always found it very intuitive, and once they set their preferred language, they’ve always been able to visit the museum independently. We haven’t had any negative feedback. It’s easy to download and use. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
